Juvenile Forensics

From 1996 to 2006 I worked exclusively in the Juvenile Justice System in Texas as an Associate Psychologist at the Giddings State School. During that time, I conducted hundreds of juvenile forensic assessments, participated in program audits, facilitated treatment groups, and provided court testimony. I have experience assessing and working with both male and female offenders who have been involved in crimes ranging from Capital Murder to Sexual Assault.

Some of my work at the Texas Youth Commission was featured in John Hubner’s book, The last chance in Texas (2005).

In 2003 I began conducting pre adjudication assessments for juveniles as a part of my private practice. I approach each case objectively and offer opinions based on the most up to date research available. I have been qualified as an expert witness in numerous County and District Courts across Texas and have been involved in some of the most high profile juvenile cases in the State.

I am currently available for case consultation, review of psychological assessments, formulation of cross examination questions, as well as assessment of juveniles involved in the justice system. Please contact me for more information.
